Co-owner + 5th Degree Black BeltHenry Brewster first studied Shaolin Kempo Karate in 2006, and has been a full time martial arts instructor since 2011. His martial arts background also includes Kickboxing, Escrima, Boxing, Krav Maga, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Ninjutsu, Tae Kwon Do, and Mixed Martial Arts. He fell in love with karate early on in his training, both in the dojo and on the tournament circuit. After receiving his 1st degree black belt, he led his first class, and found a lifelong passion in teaching. Since then, Henry has taught students of all ages, across many platforms, and is excited to begin this new chapter at Kaizen Martial Arts.

Michael Miller started his "empty hand" martial arts career in 1984 and brings more than four decades of experience to his work teaching Martial Movement at Kaizen Martial Arts. Sensei Mike holds a Third Degree Black Belt in both Hapkido and Tae Kwon Do, has trained in Kick Boxing and studied Kung Fu sword while in China where he went to school for a short time. Complementing his empty hand training, Sensei Michael also enjoys practicing and competing in several forms of traditional and modern weaponry.

Co-owner + 4th Degree Black BeltSensei Zach’s martial arts journey began at the age of five years old in Tae Kwon Do. His training eventually led to learning Krav Maga, Mixed Martial Arts, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Kempo Karate and Boxing over the course of 23 years. He is now a fourth degree black belt and has devoted the last twelve years to teaching karate professionally to students of all ages. His love of martial arts has only grown through sharing it with others. Sensei Zach is very excited to begin this new chapter in teaching at Kaizen, with his best friend and business partner, Shihan Henry.
